In 2019, Tyler took a trip to visit a friend in Arizona. While there, Adam saw him on Tinder and super liked him (literally). Tyler didn’t see the message until he got back to New Hampshire, but swiped right anyway. Adam messaged immediately and they never stopped talking!
Soon they agreed to meet in Atlanta while Adam was at a conference. He could have been an axe murderer, but Tyler took the chance and, to quote his uber driver on the way to the airport, he “went to Atlanta and fell in love.”
ENGAGEMENT
EPCOT
December 31, 2023
Adam planned a trip to Disney World with a secret agenda. The morning of the 31st started in EPCOT, where they spent the day walking around the World Showcase, visiting every country before finding themselves at a cozy steakhouse in Canada. After dinner, they made their way to the lake in search of the perfect spot for the midnight fireworks.
Tragedy struck as they approached the lake and realized their view was partially blocked by a nearby shop. Tyler was...less than thrilled. Adam did his best to find a better view, but Tyler begrudgingly insisted they stay put, having already committed to taking disappointing pictures from where he stood.
Fortunately, a small family in front of them stepped away, opening up the perfect viewing space. Tyler jumped forward and raised his camera, happy to finally have the full view of the Lake.
At 11:59 p.m., Adam rested his head on Tyler’s shoulder and said, “Hey, before the new year starts… we should probably talk about something.” Tyler braced himself to apologize for being a brat—but Adam interrupted with, “Will you marry me?”
Stunned, Tyler had to do a double take before the words caught up to him. He said yes and the fireworks (literally) went off around the world!

In a small ceremony at the Gilbert, AZ Riparian, Tyler & Adam exchanged rings and, after 6 years together, got married!
They are deeply grateful for the love and support you’ve given them and feel incredibly lucky to share this journey with you.
