Walton, NY
Two friends and I (plus one friend's boyfriend) planned a great campout at Bear Spring Mountain but heavy rain forecasts and a rough cough forced us to call it off. Despite that, we met up for lunch in the bustling city of Walton, New York. Seriously, there were five garage sales happening!
We asked our waiter if there was anything interesting to do in the area and he told us that when it came to daylife, we were out of luck, but for nightlife we should definitely head back there (Feather & Stone). He did suggest a park so we could go "hiking." There were certainly a lot of bugs and even a creek, but the most adventurous we got was trying the workout gear along the fitness trail. Climbing that metal ladder was much harder than I anticipated.
