Reasons to be Cheerful
Acting as the Advertising and Assistant Manager, I more than doubled the brand's social following, increased amount of ice cream scooped by 25%, and designed a fully updated and functional website.
The update took the original website from a stagnant document to a colorful and interactive one that engaged customers and allowed them share their thoughts and create custom orders at any time. In an effort to do something unlike any other ice cream shop in the area (or other potential competitors) does, I took a photo of each new flavor and overlaid its name to create a visual catalog of the 313, and counting, flavors homemade at Reasons to be Cheerful. This served to inform customers of the active specials (seven every day!) in a scrolling header without ignoring the standard set of 21 flavors displayed underneath as part of a gallery.
