Safia and I have been friends from afar for seven years. We met and started talking back in college and have kept up the relationship ever since. This year we finally got to meet. On a whirlwind trip, I bought a ticket to Las Vegas and she drove up to meet me. We packed in a ridiculous amount of adventure. We gambled, swam with sharks, watched the sun rise over the Grand Canyon, met the family, and almost hugged a cactus. All in four days.
